Micro-sized 3mm Isfet electrodes can be used in applications in thin high pipes or to measure the pH in meat or cheese, and can be connected to one of the four Sentron pH meters
Sentron has been involved in the development and production of Isfet sensors for over 20 years.
These sensors are built-in into pH systems and all over the world.
The fact that the electrodes are totally glass free, nearly unbreakable, give a fast response and are very reliable, brought the company requests to develop a glass free electrode in a mini or micro size.
So it took the decision to start the development of such a Micro electrode.
Now, some months later, it reports that the Sentron Micro electrode is available for the market.
The Sentron Micro electrode is made of Peek and has a diameter of only 3mm.
The measuring part (the sensor) is built-in at the conic end of the electrode.
Therefore this electrode can be used to measure very small volumes or in small sized sample cups and in micro-titer plates.
On request the company can manufacture a stainless steel or flexible electrode with the same diameter of 3mm.
The Micro electrodes can also be used in applications in thin high pipes or to measure the pH in meat (stainless steel) or cheese.
The electrode can be connected to one of the four Sentron pH meters and are very suitable for applications in the bio-technology, food, pharmacy, etc.
