Monmouth Scientific has been awarded ISO9001:2000 accreditation during its recent audit by SGS UK
"The ISO9001:2000 quality award comes after months of hard work and culminated in our inspection in October" reports David Pomeroy, Monmouth Scientific's managing director.
"Every aspect of the company's performance was evaluated and we passed with flying colours.
"It demonstrates all of our staff's commitment to providing a quality service to everyone of our valued customers".
Monmouth has already supplied many prestigious organisations with fume containment systems and clean air laminar flow cabinets.
Current customers include Atomic Weapons Establishment, BAe Systems, Health Protection Agency, Golden Wonder, National Health Service, and BNFL.
The company has two divisions, Monmouth Scientific in the sale and distribution of fume containment systems including bench mounted filtration fume cupboards, mobile fume cupboards, downflow workstations and ducted fume cupboards.
It can offer cabinets on a supply only basis or arrange for the installation of any of the cabinets in its range.
In addition to the fume cabinets, it has a range of clean air laminar flow cabinets.
Monmouth's other division is Monmouth Surgical.
This promotes and supports a wide range of surgical instrumentation for supply to hospitals and vets.
