Flow rate readings from the V:kit liquid flowmeter can now be captured automatically using the auto_flow feature in V:kit2 for HPLC
Automatic flow rate capture is an exciting new development for V:kit, says NLG, with the following benefits:.
Traceability: unbroken link between the measured and captured values.
Quality: elimination of transcription errors.
Efficiency: time taken transcribing flow rate values put to better use.
When installed the auto-flow starter kit allows an unlimited number of flow tests to be performed using a specified flow meter up until the expiry date of the kit - which is typically the re-calibration date of the flowmeter.
When the flowmeter is re-calibrated an auto_flow refill kit can be purchased.
NLG Analytical business development manager Stephen Luke says: "Automatic capture of flow rates as part of an HPLC OQ or PQ is a feature that I have wanted to see implemented for a long time and I'm very pleased that we have been able to add it so quickly to V:kit2 for HPLC."
