Renishaw has created a new website to help visitors planning the Medical Design and Manufacturing (MDandM) West show and conference at the Anaheim Convention Center from 31 January to 2 February 2006
The site gives full details of Renishaw's wide range of metrology products being displayed at the show, which will help increase manufacturing precision, processing efficiencies and competitive positioning, while enhancing compliance with the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations.
The site will be updated with new product announcements in the lead-up to the show, including a new tool recognition system for high-speed broken tool detection on CNC machine tools and an ultra-compact high accuracy touch probe for small machining centres.
For machine builders there is a new high accuracy linear scale and new software for motion system analysis.
Whether metal cutting, measurement or motion control, a visit to Renishaw at booth 2866 will help visitors to get the best from their machines, it says.
MDandM West promotes itself as offering all the resources required to successfully design, develop and manufacture medical devices and equipment for an increasingly competitive healthcare market.
There will be five special-focus pavilions - PrecisionTec, Medpak, Cad/Cam, Enterprise Technology, and the new MicroNanoTec pavilion.
Exhibits include the latest advances in medical-grade materials, components, electronics, computer-aided design and manufacturing, production machinery, packaging, sterilisation, quality systems, device communications, networking and enterprise IT.
