System uses a heated catalyst to reduce the methane content of air to less than 0.1ppm from either an existing compressed air supply or built in compressor, removing the need for cylinder gas supplies
Noblegen has recently launched its new look range of Zero-Air systems designed to meet the gas requirement for GC-FID, FPD and NPD applications.
The system uses a heated catalyst to reduce the methane content of air to less than 0.1ppm from either an existing compressed air supply or built in compressor.
The gas can also be used for nebuliser and exhaust gas for LC/MS applications, for combustion gas for total hydrocarbon analysers and calibration gas.
Giving the option of a built in compressor gives the system mobility and only requires a 110 or 230VAC supply to function.
With flow rates from 1.5 up to 16l/min as standard, and any flow to 50l/min possible, this range of Zero-Air products can meet most laboratory gas requirements.
The products have a small footprint, are lightweight and very simple to operate, with few moving parts.
An hours run counter only accumulates time on heating hours or when gas flow occurs which extends servicing hours considerably, reducing your costs and down-time.
The main advantage of these products over cylinder supplies is no interruptions, no manual handling once installed, and a fast pay back of typically 12 months.
