Petrolab offers the PMA-4 flash point tester for determining Pensky-Martens (ASTM D93) flash point automatically, eliminating operator bias
The PMA-4 features both gas and electric ignition options as standard and improves safety with an over-temperature protection circuit and a flame thermo-detector above the test cup.
In addition, the time interval between two consecutive flash point tests is reduced to a minimum with the convenience of the PMA-4's multi-function head.
The PMA-4 may be used with a 7 or 70ml sample size, and is available with an exceptional time and cost saving accessory, a 12-position test cup sample changer.
The company also offers a Cleveland Open Cup Tester (CLA 4).
It is a fully automatic digital tester for ASTM D92 flash and fire point analysis of liquid as well as highly viscous or solid samples measuring flashpoint in the range of 60 to 400C.
The Tag-4 flash point tester is specialised for automatic low-temperature flash point determination according to ASTM D56.
The operator simply needs to type in the expected flash point temperature and press the run button.
The instrument has an operating temperature range of -20 to 93C.
