HORIBA has achieved CE IVDR certification for its new Yumizen H500 CRP benchtop hematology analyzer, expanding its compact diagnostics portfolio with a powerful, all-in-one solution for infection and inflammation assessment. Designed for small laboratories and diverse hospital settings, the Yumizen H500 CRP delivers a simultaneous complete blood count (CBC) with 5-part extended differential and rapid C-Reactive Protein (CRP) measurement from a single whole blood sample.
CRP is a highly sensitive biomarker with rapid kinetics and a narrow normal reference range, making it a critical indicator for early detection and monitoring of inflammatory and infectious conditions. By combining CRP results with advanced white blood cell differentiation, the Yumizen H500 CRP provides clinicians with deeper diagnostic insight—supporting improved patient triage, treatment decisions, and therapy monitoring.
Requiring just 27 µL of venous or capillary blood, the analyzer reduces turnaround times, operational costs, and sample handling, while its capillary sampling capability makes it especially suitable for pediatric patients. The system delivers up to 38 parameters, including immature leukocyte populations and infectious screening flags, enabling comprehensive assessment across infectiology, hematology, immunology, and oncology.
With an intuitive touchscreen interface, robust connectivity, and integrated quality control supported by HORIBA’s Yumicare remote service, the Yumizen H500 CRP sets a new standard for efficient, clinically relevant benchtop hematology testing.
