Lloyd Instruments celebrates ten years of being part of Ametek with the launch of a new Chinese-language website
Lloyd Instruments's managing director, David Greer, commented: "We have enjoyed a highly successful period as part of Ametek.
"We have completely redeveloped our product line of materials testing machines.
"Our Plus range offers versatile materials testing capabilities for tensile, compression, flexural, peel, tear, friction and other testing applications and now features 11 instruments with capacities from 1kN to 150kN plus we have engineered a large number of special configurations to meet customer's individual test applications.
"Last year, we launched the extremely versatile Nexygenplus materials test and control software with extensive capabilities for test creation, data collection, reporting and exporting test data, video and still picture capture, test data security and audit trails, and test automation and customisation.
"We have also continued to develop the Davenport range of plastic and polymer test instruments.
"Sales have also grown steadily", he continued, "and as part of our global approach to sales and marketing, we have established a network of multiple distribution channels in key industrial regions throughout China, including Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
"Customers in China now have local access to applications expertise and after-sales service enabling them to purchase our equipment with absolute confidence".
In addition to the new Chinese website, Chinese versions brochures of the Davenport polymer test equipment range and Lloyd Instruments materials testing solutions are available.
The Materials Testing brochure also includes a copy of the Nexygenplus demonstration CD in Chinese.
