Select Biosciences announces its second European Biomarkers Summit which will be run in parallel to its inaugural Proteomics Europe in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 4-5 September 2007
Last year's European Biomarkers Summit, held in Prague, was a great success says the organiser Select Biosciences.
The attendees (200+) were very pleased by the level of the lectures and by the networking facilities offered by the adjacent exhibition (15 exhibits - 25 scientific posters).
"The meeting was friendly, well-organised, and the facilities and support excellent".
"We were also very pleased with the quality of the presentations and general level of interaction between attendees".
"Overall we found it very worthwhile." said Cliff Murray, R+D director, Medical Solutions.
Encouraged to organise the European Biomarkers Summit on an annual basis, Select Biosciences announces its second European Biomarkers Summit which will be run in parallel to its inaugural Proteomics Europe, and share a larger exhibition of scientific posters and service providers from these allied fields, in the colourful city of Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 4-5 September 2007.
The following distinguished speakers have already confirmed their participation: Ruedi Aebersold, professor, systems biology, Institute of Biotechnology, ETH-Zurich and Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Zurich.
Dolores Cahill, professor, translational sciences, Conway Institute, University College Dublin.
Roy Goodacre, professor of biological chemistry, University of Manchester.
Salvatore Sechi, director, proteomic programme, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, Bethesda, MD.
Mathias Uhlen, professor, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm.
In order to ensure a cost-effective trip, delegates registered to either meeting will not only have access to both conferences and the shared exhibition, but they can also opt to attend a pre-conference training course.
Details of this as well as early registration deals are available on the respective websites.
