The Meech Series 200 range of ionisation equipment has been specifically designed to exceed the strict requirements of electronics and industrial cleanroom applications
Meech International announces the launch of the new model 200 proximity sensor switching system for use with its series 200 range of ionising nozzles.
Designed in response to customer requests for a fully hands-free system, the model 200 proximity sensor automatically detects a product as it passes in front, which in turn triggers a signal that is sent to the control unit.
Ionisation and compressed air supplies are then automatically activated to blow ionised air across the product to neutralise any static charge.
Static causes problems in many manufacturing environments and even in the most stringent cleanrooms, static charge attracts particulates from people, processes and equipment.
It is important that appropriate measures are taken to ensure that static is kept to a minimum, if not completely eliminated.
Product sensing eliminates the need for pneumatic foot pedals or other controls and means that a system can be set up for automatic operation.
This 'hands free' process enhances productivity as valuable operator time can be used for other tasks.
Furthermore, the ionisation and compressed air are only used when required, thereby offering energy cost savings.
Adding to its versatility, the proximity sensor has been designed with an adjustable sensing range and so also offers flexibility in installation.
The complete model 200 proximity sensor switching system comprises a proximity sensor and control unit that connects directly into the Model 233v3 or 977v3 pulsed DC controller.
It is fully compatible with Meech's series 200 range of ionising nozzles.
