3M has launched the 9922 FFP2 particulate respirator with nuisance-level organic vapour and ozone-relief technology.
This latest addition to 3M's range of maintenance-free respirators provides protection against fine dusts and oil- and water-based mists.
The 9922 provides relief from nuisance levels (airborne concentrations below the workplace exposure limit) of organic vapours from solvents, degreasers and resins.
It also offers protection against respiratory hazards generated during welding, such as welding fume and ozone gas.
The lightweight construction of the 9922 respirator promotes comfort and contributes to increased wear time.
This makes it suited for applications and workplaces such as woodworking, foundry operations, waste management, laboratories, agriculture, petrochemical manufacturing and welding.
Other features of the design include: a collapse-resistant shell and cup design; 3M Electret filter media; 3M cool-flow valve; blue colour-coded straps for performance level; and a carbon layer.
