Polyscience has brought out two circulating baths for use with Abbe refractometers.
Polyscience 9112 and 9012 refrigerating/heating circulating baths feature a -20 to +200C temperature range, six-litre reservoir and remote temperature control capability.
The systems contain an advanced programmable controller that features an LCD display, +/-0.01C temperature stability, multi-language help-menus and sophisticated time/temperature programming.
They can store up-to ten 50-step programs and offer extensive data logging capability, including communications support for Microsoft Excela, National Instruments' Labviewa and the Palma OS.
Other standard features include user-settable high and low temperature alarms, a variable-speed pump capable of closed and open-loop external circulation and a built-in RS-232 interface.
The space-saving Model 9112 circulating bath requires less than one square foot of bench-space.
The Model 9012 circulating bath features a low-profile design that fits on a shelf.
The reservoir on both measures 13.3 x 13.3cm (5.25 x 5.25in) and is 14cm (5.5in) deep.
