John Morris Scientific has brought out ART's Miccra instrument series, for homogenisation, emulsification, suspension, dispersion and crushing.
The Miccra series can be operated by hand or mounted on a post.
There are four instruments in the series.
The Miccra D-1 is designed for homogenisation, emulsification and dispersion of small volumes as well as shredding of human, animal or plant tissue in biosciences.
The speed can be adjusted between 5,000 and 35,000rpm.
The D-1 covers volumes from 0.1 to 500ml.
The 350W-battery-operated Miccra D-3/PA is designed for mains-independent operation in the field.
The D-3/PA covers volumes from 100ml to 5L.
The Miccra D-9 drive is designed for use in industries such as agrarian technology and cell biology.
The speed can be adjusted from 11,000 to 39,000rpm.
The D-9 covers volumes from 0.1ml to 20L.
The Miccra D-15 is designed for high-volume applications.
The speed can be adjusted from 8,800 to 33,600rpm.
The D-15 covers volumes from 100ml to 50L.
Miccra series tools feature a modular and economical design that fits every Miccra drive.
The rotor and stator can be changed without the need for special tools.
The shaft always remains the same.
Tools are made from high-grade stainless steel.
Miccra offers disposable tools for infectious or radioactive samples or to prevent cross contamination.
John Morris Scientific is exclusively distributing ART products in Australia and New Zealand.
