SP Industries has announced its 2009 Lyolearn web seminar series on critical topics concerning the optimisation of the lyophilisation (freeze drying) process.
These free educational seminars cover subjects based upon the accrued knowledge of leading international industry and academic lyophilisation experts to enable a better understanding of how to create robust, cost-effective cycles.
Starting on 25 March 2009 with a webinar entitled 'Introduction to Freeze Drying Theory', the knowledge gained from attending these seminars is designed to help maximise the efficacy of a freeze dried product.
Seminars will also cover topics such as: end-point determination of freeze drying; cycle design and optimisation; freeze drying of co-solvent systems; freeze drying of proteins; considerations for containment when freeze drying; freeze drying microscopy - relevance for process design; formulation development in freeze dried pharmaceuticals; and process development and scale-up issues in freeze drying.
