Unitemp has released a large-volume climatic chamber designed for the testing and monitoring of electronic/electrical components, small automobile parts and selected pharmaceuticals and materials.
Manufactured by Espec, the ARS-1100 is claimed to achieve accurate temperature control and relative humidity.
A wide operating temperature and humidity range of -75C to +180C is available, along with relative humidity of between 10 per cent and 98 per cent.
The ARS-1100 is said to be able to conduct smooth temperature changes, with a load of 50kg, a ramp-up of 3.7C per minute and a pull-down of 2.9C per minute.
The air-cooling system and the dehumidifier are separate for more efficient control.
A built-in scroll type compressor is incorporated into the chamber for improved stabilised efficient when lowering the temperature.
The instrumentation panel is integrated into the door at eye level and has various programmes for time, temperature and humidity controls.
A viewing window with dew condensation protection is also built into the door for visual inspection of the products under test.
Constructed from stainless steel, it has castors for manoeuvring and positioning.
Inside dimensions are 1100mm x 1100mm x 1000mm and it weighs 650kg.
The ARS-1100 has applications in the electronics, engineering, laboratory, process and manufacturing industries.
