Air Science has introduced a range of vertical laminar-flow cabinets.
The airflow on the Purair vertical-flow cabinets directly strikes the work surface.
Air Science cabinets are manufactured with rear-wall perforations, which remove a small amount of air at the rear of the cabinet to minimise any turbulence.
In vertical-flow cabinets, the ULPA filter is mounted above the work surface.
This provides a taller and deeper workspace, making the cabinets suitable for large equipment in the work zone.
The cabinets are available in 36in (91cm), 48in and 72in widths.
All three models provide a nominal filter face velocity of 0-45m/s (90ft/min), which ensures a sufficient number of air changes to maintain cleanliness within the work zone.
