Huber has extended its product range with five new Heat Transfer Systems (HTS) that can be connected to an existing cooling water supply for a variety of applications.
Heat transfer systems are inexpensive and suitable for a range of applications, such as the transfer of process heat or to control the temperature of Peltier elements, bioreactors, rotary evaporators, vapour traps and so on.
The systems are suitable for applications where a cooling water supply is required with stable pressure and flow and precise working temperature.
A HTS has no mechanical refrigeration but is fitted with a circulation pump, plate heat exchanger and CC-Pilot controller.
It has an integrated circulation pump that can achieve 33 litre/min and pressure up to 2.5 bar.
The CC-Pilot controller is equipped with a colour display and RS232 interface that controls the cooling water temperature from 5 to 80C with a stability of +/-0.1K via Pt100 External sensor directly connected to the application.
Optionally, devices are available with integrated heating and thermal protection.
A HTS offers good temperature stability and, depending on model and water temperature, cooling powers can be up to 15kW.
As no mechanical refrigeration system is fitted, the machine is silent, efficient and saves energy.
