The extensive Jenway spectrophotometer range has been boosted by four easy-to-operate additions to the 73 series: the 7300 and 7305 basic models and the 7310 and 7315 advanced models.
These spectrophotometers all have improved navigation systems and feature icon driven software for intuitive operation, with auto-logging capabilities and boast an extensive range of accessories.
The basic 7300 model (wavelength range 320 to 1000nm) and 7305 model (wavelength range 320 to 1000nm) features measurement modes for absorbance, percentage transmittance and concentration.
The two advanced models, (7310 and 7315) feature measurement modes for spectrum scanning, kinetics and quantitation as well as absorbance, percentage transmittance and concentration
The advanced models have the additional feature of an easy access USB port on the front of the unit that enables results to be stored directly to a USB memory stick for easy transfer of data.
These models also permit the storage of up to 240 methods, which can then be copied from one unit to another using the USB memory stick.
The 7310 and 7315 models have enhanced security features enabling the settings and methods to be locked preventing unauthorised changes to the instrument settings and method parameters.
The home page on these models can be customised allowing selected mode restriction, a facility that may well be required for teaching purposes. The wavelength range for the 7310 is 320 to 1000nm and 198 to 1000nm for the 7315.
What’s more, the 7305 and 7315 models both feature a press-to-read xenon lamp and all models come with a three year warranty that includes the xenon lamp.
