SoftwareWedge lets you take data from just about any device that you can connect to your serial port ? balances, gauges, flow meters, sensors, titrators, micrometers, digital callipers, pH meters, analysers and more ? and read it straight into your application, be it a spreadsheet such as Excel, a statistical quality control package like NWA Quality Analyst, or a database, word processor, graphics program, process control software or even a LIMS (laboratory information management system).
It is extremely easy to set up and use too.
There is no need to do any programming ? just select how you want the data collected, define the communication parameters, decide which data you want from the data string, then activate SoftwareWedge and the data goes straight into your preferred application.

Software Wedge products range from the standard WinWedge through to the latest WinWedge 32 Pro product. The WinWedge standard product is designed to work with simple devices such as balances but the Pro versions will work with virtually any serial device, parsing, filtering and translating complex serial output and allowing sophisticated control of the device.
The WinWedge 32 Pro product is a full 32 bit version for Windows 95, 98 and NT, and comes with two free utilities: FileWedge, which works like WinWedge only it takes data from a file instead of from serial ports; and TCPWedge which communicates with any IP port address.
