Removing the need to keep changing the intensity settings or exchanging neutral density filters when microscope objectives are changed
New filters have been introduced for balancing the brightness differences between objectives as magnifications are changed. This removes the need to keep changing the intensity settings or exchanging neutral density filters as the filtering is done at the objective.
Designed primarily for use in brightfield applications, and particularly with pathology in mind, they add convenience of use in routine procedures such as specimen screening.
Suitable for fitting to the ICS range of infinity objectives, they have the standard RMS thread and are available as 0.25 and 0.1 versions.
The adapters fit between the objective and the nosepiece and simply screw on.
A blank parfocalising ring is available for objectives not requiring the transmission reduction.
The new adapters can be used with all Carl Zeiss Axio series microscopes, but are not recommended where fluorescence microscopy is being applied.
