Remote siting of wireless sensors where cabling proves impractical or costly can be used in agricultural, pharmaceutical, industrial, museum and environmental monitoring
The Grant Telemetry System allows remote siting of licence-exempt wireless sensors where cabling systems prove impractical or costly and is ideal for temporary or permanent installations.
Up to 124 sensors can be located almost anywhere with reliable and secure collection of data assured.
Each battery powered transmitter accepts up to 12 sensors - such as temperature, humidity, visible and UV light, 4-20mA and voltage transducers - the range is increasing all the time.
The compact and unobtrusive transmitters can be placed where required or wall mounted for added security.
Battery life is typically up to one year. Communications range is very much dependent upon the environment - expect up to 250 metres inside a building or 3km with clear line of site.
The transmitters periodically report back their sensor information to a hub receiver and data logger combination for storage and later analysis.
Data can be analysed or exported for use in a preferred spreadsheet.
Accessories include radio repeaters for extending coverage and Darca software for basic or advanced analysis including metering and graphing.
Field proven Grant Telemetry Systems can be used in agricultural, pharmaceutical, industrial, museum and environmental monitoring applications - there is virtually no limit to the applications to which the system can be applied.
