Semi-automatic blistering machine aimed at the pharmaceutical market is ideal for low volume batch production
Isopak, exclusive UK distributor of Dott Bonapace machines, is launching a new semi-automatic blistering machine aimed at the pharmaceutical market.
The In-Pack is a compact, free standing unit, ideal for low volume batch production.
With a number of exciting features, the In-Pack is suitable for a range of applications, including clinical trials, pack development and the production of low batch blister packs for laboratories.
It is simple to operate, and can quickly change from one format or size of pack to another without the use of tools.
This makes it ideal for producing relatively small quantities of high quality packs, identical to those manufactured on larger, high speed production machines.
All operations on the unit's dual stations are performed effortlessly, and the simplicity of use and set up procedures ensures that minimal operator training is required.
Overall, the In-Pack provides an economical solution, offering maximum yield and is ideal for use in a small space.
The In-Pack outputs two blister packs per cycle and produces a maximum blister size of 90mm x 70mm.
Running off standard 240v single phase mains allows the machine to be used readily in any situation.
Of the unit's two stations, the first heated station is used to form packs from pre-cut sheets and then after a change of tooling, seal them.
The second, cold station, is used immediately afterwards to cut out the final packs.
All operations are easily carried out by use of a simple to use integral control unit.
The machine can thermoform, seal, code and blister cut in PVC/alu and/or alu/alu.
Isopak's managing director Robin Davies says: "This is an economically priced machine, capable of producing high quality packs in low volume.
Its ease of use, compact size and robust construction make it an ideal start up or pack development tool.
" The In-Pack is just one of a number of Dott Bonapace machines offered by Isopak in the UK.
The range includes bench top and free-standing semi- automatic capsule processing machines, blistering and tablet press equipment.
Typical of the company's products is the CPR-25, a high volume, automatic tablet-pressing machine capable of producing up to 15,000 tablets per hour.
Now with the addition of the In-Pack to Isopak's range, the company believes it can meet the needs of all customers requiring both large and small scale quality production.
