At the LabAutomation 2002 conference (23-26 January) in Palm Springs, USA, Micronic will focus on the latest products for sample storage, retrieval and liquid handling
At the LabAutomation meeting, Micronic is introducing for the first time in a public forum Robo-RackT, a next generation 96-position sample tube storage rack which incorporates a wealth of novel features enabling turn-key integration into most laboratory automation systems.
Manufactured from high-grade polypropylene the innovative Robo-RackT positively enhances productivity with its Sure-ShotT contoured well top which provides positive tube lead-in (A1-H12) to increase throughput and decrease downtime.
Now any tubes not perfectly delivered to the desired vertical rack location will not cause stoppages and instead will be positively guided into the correct well location. In addition Micronic has incorporated a novel air flow system open rack architecture on the Robo-RackT to reduce freeze-thaw cycle times.
For the more demanding sample storage applications such as those in low or non-uniform lighting or dusty environments the complete range of TraXisT coded tubes, racks, piercable sealing systems, tube readers and software will be available for demonstration.
For company's using the widely recognised data matrix coding system the Tracker-DMT range of coded tubes, powerful software and high speed reading systems will be on display.
