Two new block heaters previewed at Achema in Frankfurt this May have been well received, says the manufacturer
Previewed for the first time at Achema in late May, the new block heaters from Nickel-Electro received a very warm reception.
Part of the Clifton range of temperature control equipment, there are two new block heaters - the Digibloc and the Thermubloc.
The Digibloc is a digital block heater, which is capable of holding user selected adjustable time and temperature settings in memory. There are two temperature set points, and temperature is easily set by a simple control panel, with a bright, clear LED display which suits all lighting conditions.
A comprehensive choice of interchangeable blocs makes the Digibloc ideally suited for a wide variety of uses which demand repeatability.
The Thermubloc is a thermostatically controlled analogue heater which is ideal for simple tasks.
Temperature is selected by a rotary dial and has a range of ambient +5C up to 120C.
The Thermubloc accepts accessory interchangeable blocs for a variety of tubes, and up to two blocs can be fitted into the heating well.
Melvin Dickson, managing director of Nickel-Electro says: "We were genuinely thrilled with the reception given to our new block heaters at Achema.
We have spent considerable time designing and developing these to offer users a high quality product at an affordable price." Nickel-Electro offers a three year warranty for all items in the Clifton range of temperature control equipment.
