New version of software suite for conducting and reporting Ames bacterial reverse mutation assays has enhanced multi-user capabilities
The Ames Study Manager is a powerful suite of software for conducting and reporting Ames bacterial reverse mutation assays. Launched last year, it has become of great interest to laboratories performing the Ames test according to regulatory guidelines.
A new version of the program has just been released which has enhanced multi-user capabilities.
Previously, multiple users of the software at networked computers could count plates concurrently, even those from the same experiment.
The new version of the Ames Study Manager has extended this multi-user concurrency to cover other activities such as study design, creation of bacterial tester strains, solvents, positive control chemicals, test substances, experiments and their associated positive and negative controls.
The Ames Study Manager is compliant with the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 rule on electronic records and electronic signatures and Good Laboratory Practice and is therefore the obvious solution for Ames testing in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, chemical, medical device manufacturers and contract research laboratories.
