For convenience, ease of handling and to combat time-consuming resin weighing, Polymer Laboratories has launched resin-loaded, pre-prepared StratoSpheres Plugs.
This unique format entraps the resin so that it is able to react in a normal manner, yet is contained in a pre-packaged format which eliminates the need to weigh loose resin.
StratoSpheres Plugs are porous composite devices made by co-sintering HDPE material with solid phase synthesis resins, solid supported reagents or scavengers. StratoSpheres Plugs are manufactured in a size and shape designed to suit most 48-well or standard 96-well formats.
They are physically robust and can be used in all types of agitation systems such as magnetic stirring, vortexing or nitrogen bubbling, or with automation devices.
Polymer Laboratories's optimised manufacturing protocols ensure uniform distribution of the resin throughout the plug, as well as reproducibility between batches.
This results in a consistent loading per plug.
