The ImProm-II enzyme can be used to reverse transcribe RNA templates starting with either total RNA or poly(A) +mRNA.
A fully optimised reaction buffer coupled with a powerful reverse transcriptase enzyme makes it possible to carry out reliable full-length cDNA synthesis for the reproducible analysis of rare or long messages.
Versatile and efficient, ImProm-II can be used to reverse transcribe RNA templates of over 8.5 kilobases and can be used to incorporate standard and amino-allyl modified nucleotides, typically used in the preparation of Cy3 and Cy5 labelled fluorescent probes.
cDNA synthesis conditions have been formulated for stand-alone applications or for the easy transition to gene-specific target amplification.
