Based on a 635nm band AlGaInP laser diode with MQW structure, the device has a laser diode reverse voltage, (VRLD), of 2V, photo diode reverse voltage, (VRLD), of 30V, monitor current, (IS), of 0.2mA, operating current, (IOP), of 45mA, threshold current, (ITH), of 30mA, operating voltage of 2.2V and operating temperature range from -10C to +40C. Applications include fibre break locators and scientific equipment.
