New guideline available for Profibus covers the application of electronic device description language (EDDL)
Profibus International has announced the completion of a new Profibus Guideline covering EDDL, an electronic device description language for Profibus devices.
It is entitled 'Specification for Profibus Device Description and Device Integration, Volume 2: EDDL Specification'.
Version 1.1 is available in English, order code 2.152.
The publication is priced at £72 for non-members of Profibus, while UK members can get it for £48 and Regular (or higher) members can download it for free from the Profibus website (details above).
