RDP Electronics is making instrumentation and measurement software which will output data from its E725 Digital Transducer Indicator into Excel freely available via its website
Although RDP Electronics is well known as a manufacturer of transducers, this is only part of the story.
Through instrumentation and software RDP can provide the means to not only make the measurements you require, but also to deliver the output in a format that can be displayed on your PC using a standard application such as Microsoft Excel.
All that is needed to work with your RDP transducer is an E725 Digital Transducer Indicator and some freeware, downloadable from the RDP web site. At the heart of the system is the E725 Indicator.
The E725 provides the necessary excitation as well as signal conditioning for virtually all transducers of the type LVDT, strain gauge, 4-20mA and voltage output.
There is a choice of four different input cards each with an analogue output of current and voltage for retransmission of the equipment to external equipment.
To complete the package RDP offer free software which can be downloaded form the web site to provide a terminal emulation program and, with ActiveX, the ability to put data into an Excel package with all the rich features this offers.
