The new range of imaging products from Ankersmid complements the already impressive product portfolio managed by PTL in the UK.
PTL's sales director, Keith Sanderson, commented that the opportunity to work with a company of Ankersmid's experience and engineering excellence was too good to miss, with a range of optical imaging and particle size distribution analysers.
Ankersmid particle size and shape analysis systems employ laser scanning technology (HeNe) and unique algorithms (time of transition theory) for particle sizing and video microscope technology for particle shape analysis.
The measurement range is from sub-micron to millimetres for both dry and wet samples.
With applications in the food, pharmaceuticals and chemical industries, Ankersmid particle analysers are ideal for QC/QA roles and research laboratories, says Particle Technology.
The company supplies particle size instrumentation, analytical services, certified test sieves, particle sizing standards, test dusts, and consultancy services.
