Welcoming Churchouse to the SCIpharm 2006 team, Juliette Smillie, director of member relations and operations for the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI), said: "We are delighted with the support that we are receiving from delegates and exhibitors alike for SCIpharm 2006 and look forward to hosting what we expect to be a significant event in the international pharmaceutical industry calendar.

Now in its second year, the industry-led SCIpharm 2006 conference will cover all aspects of modern R+D in a four-track format - Gene to Screen, Screen to Candidate, Candidate to Drug, and Where Science Meets Business.
With the attendance of those new to the industry and experts alike, the conference covers the most relevant and challenging issues facing all aspects of modern R+D.
It brings together wide ranging expertise and an impressive array of eminent speakers, including industry leaders and respected academics from around the world.
Each session will be chaired by a prominent figure.
A plenary business session will cover such topics as: collaborations, private equity in partnerships, in- and out-licensing, and the shape of discovery in the future.
As well as the conference presentations, there are poster sessions with prizes to be awarded in several categories.
