Labmedics has recently launched Aquakem, a range of products has been specifically developed for the precise analysis of water and environmental samples, in France, Germany and Spain
Labmedics has set up partnerships with Thermo Electron in France and Germany.
Working respectively from Paris and Frankfurt Thermo Electron will use its established presence in those countries to promote the Aquakem range to the marketplace.
Spain will be managed by Izasa, based in Castellbisbal, Spain.
Part of CH Werfen the company is one of the major suppliers in the Iberian peninsula for a wide range of products, including laboratory instrumentation and products for the medical industry.
"The appointments form part of our geographical expansion strategy," explains director Terry Pike.
"Thermo Electron was a logical choice since the company manufactures the Aquakem instrument exclusively for Labmedics and has an in-depth knowledge of this industry area.
"We are also looking forward to developing a long term, mutually beneficial working relationship with Izasa, a highly focused, technical organisation." Labmedics, based in Manchester, UK, is a market leader in fully automated, discrete photometric analysis for inorganic analytes, with over 15 years experience in the water and environmental markets.
The new managers join an international team distributing Aquakem via the offices in the Netherlands and Australia and a network of international distributors, including USA, South Africa and South Korea.
The company aims to add to the product portfolio by manufacturing complementary analysers and reagents, as well as developing sales in other countries, especially India, China, Japan, Malaysia and UAE.
