Water Board Hollandse Delta (WSHD) has recently placed an order for an Aquakem analyser from Labmedics, supplier of fully automated, discrete photometric analysis for inorganic analytes
Hollandse Delta ensures that the southern part of the province of South Holland has clean surface water and well maintained dunes, dikes and embankments as well as clean rivers, canals and lake beds.
The organisation also purifies waste water from homes and businesses in 23 purification plants.
The organisation's treatment plant in Rotterdam is the only subterranean plant in the Netherlands and is a quarter the size of a conventional plant with the same capacity.
Aquakem was required to test ammonia, chloride, nitrite, nitrate, ortho-phosphate, sulphate, total nitrogen and total phosphate.
"Aquakem from Labmedics was chosen because it was the best option for the laboratory's workload and was easy to use," explains Rene Oudsen of WSHD.
"Its relatively simple construction also means that it requires minimum maintenance." Not only has the analyser gained its share of approval, WSHD has also praised Labmedics, describing its technical back up and after sales as 'excellent'.
Labmedics has over 15 years experience in the water and environmental markets.
The company has exclusive worldwide rights, distributing Aquakem via the new offices in Holland and Australia and a network of international distributors, including USA, South Africa and South Korea.
