Designed as a sample introduction accessory for the QP-2010 Series GCMS systems, the TD-20 provides a powerful tool for analysis of trace organic compounds in ambient air.
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI) one of the leading developers of analytical instrumentation in the USA, announces the launch of its new TD-20 thermal desorption system for GCMS.
Designed as a sample introduction accessory for the QP-2010 Series GCMS systems, the TD-20 provides a powerful tool for analysis of trace organic compounds in ambient air.
The TD-20 is applicable for analysis of organic compounds boiling from about C4 to C34, offering high recovery rates and minimal carryover of high boiling components.
Ideal for applications in the environmental, semiconductor, polymer chemistry, pharmaceutical, and food industries, the TD-20 offers easy setup and operation, and is synchronized with Shimadzu's GCMSsolution control software.
The instrument includes a Peltier electronic cooling device, enabling the cooling of sample tubes electronically without the use of external coolant such as liquid nitrogen.
Digital carrier gas control is maintained using Shimadzu's state-of-the-art advanced flow control.
The TD-20 also includes a 48-position autosampler.
