Colder Products has announced a reorganisation of its sales force and the opening of a new office in Kanagawa, Japan
These initiatives are part of an effort to address the evolving strategic needs of Colder's expanding global customer base.
Headquartered in St Paul, Minnesota (USA), Colder also has international offices in Mainz-Kastel, Germany and Hong Kong, China.
"The realignment of our global sales organization and the opening of an office in Japan reinforce Colder's commitment to international markets, which is our fastest growing segment," says Gary Rychley, president of Colder.
"The moves are representative of our continued effort to bring Colder's expert resources closer to customers outside the United States." The changes to the sales force include the following:.
Richard Mills has been promoted to vice president - worldwide sales and will assume responsibility for the company's expanded sales force.
Mitsuharu Suzuki has been named sales manager - japan and will oversee all sales and marketing activity in the Japanese market.
Ernest Chan has been appointed regional sales manager - Asia Pacific.
Franz Stankiewicz has been promoted to director of sales - Europe.
Richard Mills, a three-year veteran of Colder and most recently the company's vice president in charge of sales for its North America interests, will also now have responsibility for sales activities in Europe and Asia.
Mills holds a BSEE in electrical engineering from South Dakota State University and an MSEE from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
He is based at Colder's headquarters in St Paul, Minnesota (USA).
"I am excited about the opportunity provided by this expanded role," says Mills.
"This new sales structure will allow Colder to better support global customers at a local level and extend our reach into critical markets." The new sales manager for Japan, Mitsuharu Suzuki, was most recently the manager of disposable product development for Nichiryo.
His experience includes positions with various medical device and biotech companies, including Nihon Pall, Gelman Sciences Japan, Corning International and AR Brown.
Suzuki works in the new Japan office, which officially opened on 1 May 2006.
It is located at 1-2-4 Kugenuma-Tachibana, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Japan.
Ernest Chan, Colder's new regional sales manager for the Asia Pacific region, previously was area manager at Brookfield Engineering Laboratories.
Chan earned his BA in computer science from the University of Iowa, and has a BS in biology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Chan's other work experience includes positions with Cole Parmer, SpaceLabs and Beckman Instruments (HK) .
Chan is based at Colder Products in Hong Kong.
Franz Stankiewicz, in his new role, is now responsible for driving all of Colder's sales activities in European markets.
Stankiewicz is based at Colder Products Company in Mainz-Kastel, Germany.
"We have assembled a strong international team that will allow us to effectively serve our customers throughout the world," says Rychley.
"To further augment this solid sales infrastructure, we also plan to add sales managers in all geographies."
