Lambda Physik introduces the latest ScanMate pulsed dye lasers, offering improved performance and enhanced ease-of-use
These improvements are achieved through optional 50% reduction in bandwidth, an updated computer interface, simplified high-resolution scanning, and the integration of peripherals.
The latter include PC, internal optogalvanic (OG) calibration unit, and an optional, integrated Nd:YAG pump laser.
Plus, ScanMate is still the only high-performance dye laser to offer the simplicity, ease of alignment and efficiency of a single grating oscillator.
Scanning bandwidth can now be reduced optionally from 0.15cm-1 to 0.08cm-1, while still delivering extremely high efficiency, thus enabling the widest possible dye tuning curves.
High-resolution scanning at 0.03cm-1 across the entire tuning range is supported by a fast feedback Multi Etalon Scan system.
Plus, the SuperPure oscillator design delivers unmatched spectral purity that is one to two orders of magnitude better than other commercial dye lasers.
ScanMate's internal software package now seamlessly controls scanning, multi-channel data acquisition/absolute calibration of spectra, and even complete data evaluation enabling operation as a completely self-contained spectroscopy engine.
Alternately, the laser can be operated remotely through a custom LabView interface or via Windows software.
The new ScanMate is the ideal tunable laser for a wide range of applications in pure and applied spectroscopy.
These include pump-probe photochemistry, cavity ring-down spectroscopy, plasma physics, atmospheric chemistry, and combustion monitoring methods such as PLIF (planar laser induced fluorescence).
