Sigma-Aldrich has launched a new and significantly expanded 5th edition of the Sigma-RBI Handbook of Receptor Classification and Signal Transduction, available both online and in print.
The handbook has been updated to keep pace with the growing number of key receptors and signaling enzymes that are the focus of cell signaling research.
In addition, it highlights the development and availability of new and improved pharmacological tools used to investigate their function and regulation.
Useful to a broad spectrum of life science researchers, the Sigma-RBI Handbook presents concise and peer-reviewed information on the characterisation and classification of a wide range of receptors, ion channels, transporters, neurotransmitter synthesis/metabolism pathways and intracellular signaling enzymes.
Over 80 existing entries were updated, and 26 new entries were added with a strong focus on kinases and ion channels.
