Thermo Electron has designed an application-rich seminar in support of its extensive suite of molecular spectroscopy instruments, at 22 locations throughout the USA in September-November 2006
This new seminar has been specifically developed to provide existing and new users with the necessary skills to operate Thermo's extensive range of spectroscopic instruments efficiently, as well as introducing participants to a variety of different application areas.
Several of Thermo's instruments, including the Nicolet 6700 FT-IR spectrometer will be on display during the day to demonstrate the operational techniques.
Throughout the day, participants will also have the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions, as well as hands-on time with experts from Thermo.
This comprehensive one-day course will be taking place at 22 locations throughout the USA between September 2006 and November 2006.
It will provide scientists with a better understanding of molecular techniques, for example Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR), Infrared (IR) Microscopy, Raman, Near Infrared (NIR) and MicrobeamXRF.
Additionally participants will learn how to respond to challenges faced when using these techniques.
The seminar has been designed to give scientists the opportunity to learn how Thermo's spectroscopic technologies can help them solve everyday and challenging problems as well as to maximize productivity in the laboratory.
Nicolet FT-IR spectrometers provide powerful performance, intuitive solutions, advanced application capabilities, and full upgradeability to meet existing and future needs of the organic chemistry, pharmaceutical, food and agricultural, polymer, and academic and research markets.
