Line can now expand the capabilities of a number of commercially available rotational rheometer systems, transforming them from conventional shear rheometers into truly universal testing stations
Xpansion Instruments announces the expansion of its SER universal testing platform product line: the model SER-HV-A01 has been adapted for use on the TA Instruments/Rheometrics Ares, RDA-3, and RDA-2 rotational rheometer host systems, and can be easily accommodated within the Ares/RDA-3/RDA-2 environmental chamber for controlled temperature testing.
The model SER-HV-R01 has been adapted for use on the Rheometrics RMS-800 and RDS-2 rotational rheometer host systems, and can be easily accommodated within the RMS-800/RDS-2 environmental chamber for controlled temperature testing.
The model SER-HV-B01 has been adapted for use on the Malvern/Bohlin VOR rotational rheometer system, and can be easily accommodated within the ETC environmental chamber of the host VOR for controlled temperature testing.
The model SER-HV-P01 has been adapted for use on the Anton Paar MCR 300/301/500/501 line of rotational rheometer systems, and can be easily accommodated within the CTD600/1000 environmental chamber of the MCR host system for controlled temperature testing.
With other models coming soon, the SER universal testing platform product line can now greatly expand the capabilities of a number of commercially available rotational rheometer systems transforming them from conventional shear rheometers into truly universal testing stations capable of characterising a multitude of physical properties over a very wide range of temperatures, deformations and rates on miniature sample specimens weighing just a few milligrams.
From extensional melt rheology to solids tensile, tear, fracture, adhesion/peel, and friction testing, this miniature unit can help you cover the broad spectrum of your physical material characterization needs at rates unachievable with conventional testing technology.
