Labmedics will exhibit Aquakem, an innovative range of analysers, specifically developed for the precise analysis of water and environmental samples
Labmedics has exclusive worldwide rights, distributing the analysers via offices in Holland and Australia and a network of international agents.
At the cutting edge of technology the compact Aquakem is available in three models.
The 200 achieves analytical rates of up to 180 tests per hour and the 250 up to 250 tests an hour.
Aquakem 600 runs up to 600 tests per hour and is suitable for the higher throughput laboratory.
Types of matrices analysed include clean water, wastewater and soil/sludge digests.
Nutrient analysis includes ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, TON, chloride and sulphate.
An added option is a cadmium reduction module for nitrate analysis.
Responding to customer requirements the random access analysers have automatic start-up and shut down protocols for true 'walk away' analysis.
No reagent priming is required, enabling results from the first sample to be available within minutes of starting the analysis.
The Labmedics workshop, 'A safe and environmentally friendly enzyme based method for the analysis of nitrate on the Labmedics Aquakem discrete chemistry analyser', will be presented by Martin Gotthard, Applications Chemist, Labmedics (Asia/Pacific), in room 4 on Wednesday, 1 November 2006 at 2.30pm.
