Researchers at Phenomenex have won the prestigious R+D 100 award for their state-of-the-art Axia preparative HPLC technology
The R+D 100 award, sponsored by R+D Magazine, recognises the 100 most technologically significant products introduced in to the marketplace over the past year, and is widely regarded among the broad scientific community as a mark of excellence in technological innovation.
Axia utilises hydraulic piston compression (HPC) - a patent pending technology that eliminates variability in the manufacturing process of preparative HPLC columns and ultimately allows for the production of a significantly more robust and durable final product.
The technology offers a significant benefit in terms of speed, productivity and product lifetime.
