Whatman announces the appointment of Professor Hans Gunter Gassen to the company's board as a non-executive director
Professor Gassen will also chair the group's scientific advisory board.
Professor Gassen is chairman of biochemistry at the Darmstadt University of Technology in Germany and is also the coordinator for biotechnology at the Hessian Technology Foundation.
He has published over 150 scientific papers and is the author of five books on scientific topics.
He serves as an expert for many regulatory agencies in Germany and also advises the German government on biotechnology and biochemistry matters.
