It is waterproof to IEC 60529 IP67 standards and is buoyant in water.
The ExStik II dissolved oxygen stick meter has a built-in memory that can store up to 25 data sets of DO and temperature readings, and simultaneously displays temperature and oxygen level in either (%) saturation or (mg/l) concentration.
The large digital display is supplemented with an analogue bar graph with a 21 point scale.
With its ability to compensate for both altitude and salinity, the DO600 is capable of delivering the most accurate results, says Extech.
The meter's altitude compensation is adjustable from 0 to 20,000 feet, and its salinity compensation is adjustable from 0 to 50ppt (1%=1ppt).
The DO600 self-calibrates on power-up and features auto power-off and a low battery indicator.
The unit comes complete with an electrode, protective sensor cap, sample cup with cap, batteries, and neckstrap.
Optional accessories include a convenient one-piece membrane cap kit with electrolyte and five replacement caps, and electrode extender cables of one and five meters in length, which allow depth measurements and measurements over retaining walls.
