National Instruments UK and Ireland has announced NI Technical Symposium - a free, one-day professional development series for engineers, scientists and technicians
The symposium covers the latest technologies for test, control and design applications, with content for the sessions drawn from NIDays 2006, the popular, annual virtual instrumentation conference and exhibition.
Technical Symposium attendees will learn how the latest developments in computer-based measurement and automation can increase productivity and lower cost through virtual instrumentation and graphical system design.
This unique approach to embedded design, industrial control, and test and measurement combines commercial off-the-shelf technologies with innovative software and hardware.
Conference highlights include an update on the latest technologies impacting test and control systems, together with tools for alternative solutions for embedded development, control design and custom hardware.
The latest innovations in computer-based measurement and automation will be on show, including the USB data acquisition platform, NI CompactDaq, and National Instruments Labview 8.20, the 20th anniversary edition of the graphical system design tool.
The symposium also provides compelling technical presentations and the opportunity to network with industry peers, experts, solutions providers and vendors.
