Ideal for applications where a low TOC is required, the bench-mountable Nepture Analytical unit features a cartridge pack containing monospherical semiconductor mixed bed deionising resin
Purite, a manufacturer of high performance water purification equipment, has launched the latest unit from the Select Neptune range, to provide ultrapure water for use in critical laboratory experiments such as ion chromatography and atomic absorption spectroscopy processes.
The Neptune Analytical system offers efficient production rates of up to two litres/minute, and incorporates ultraviolet (UV) photo-oxidation technology at 185nm, ensuring ion-free ultrapure water at a guaranteed resistivity of 18.2Mohm.cm from a feedwater source of <20uS/cm.
The replaceable cartridge pack provides a low TOC specification of <1ppb.
In addition, the Analytical contains an integral 0.2um internal filter for further removal of bacteria.
The latest model also features an easy to view display to ensure quick and simple monitoring of system parameters, such as flowrate, water quality, temperature, TOC level, and pressure, while an automated disinfection routine ensures system hygiene still further.
