Neptune Life Science system offers production rates of up to two litres per minute, and incorporates bactericidal ultraviolet (UV) technology at 254nm, effectively destroying more than 99% of bacteria
Compact Neptune Life Science unit delivers ultrapure water for molecular laboratory procedures.
The Neptune Life Science system has been launched as part of the Select Neptune range from Purite, a leading UK manufacturer of high performance water purification equipment, to provide ultrapure water for use in science laboratory processes such as molecular biology, IVF, genome research, and critical cell culture.
Specifically designed to generate ion-free ultrapure water at a guaranteed resistivity of 18.2Mohm.cm from a feedwater source of <20uS/cm, the Select Neptune Life Science unit features a hollow fibre 0.05um ultra-microfilter and an integral deionising cartridge pack.
Ideal for procedures that require low levels of DNAse and RNAse, the ultra-microfilter reduces endotoxin levels to <0.02EU/ml, and bacterial levels to <0.1cfu/ml, while the replaceable cartridge pack provides an exceptionally low TOC specification of <5ppb.
The latest model also features an easy to view display to enable quick and simple monitoring of system parameters, such as flowrate, water quality, temperature, TOC, and pressure, while an automated disinfection routine ensures system hygiene still further.
