Invitrogen is now offering Synergy Selector, an innovative internet tool that offers online users an easy way to select or design custom cell culture media bags filled with Gibco media and reagents
Synergy Selector is described as a first-of-its-kind tool to reduce the time it takes to design and receive custom media-filled bags in a variety of configurations.
Customers can visit Invitrogen's website to choose media formulation, bag size and chambers, fill volume, tubing, and configuring ports.
The Synergy Selector tool immediately displays the bag drawing on-line.
Once the customer approves, Invitrogen then fills the custom request and ships the order with high-quality Gibco media.
"Many users are looking for an efficient method to design custom flexible packaging filled with their unique media formulations," said Nicolas Barthelemy, senior vice president of Invitrogen's cell culture systems division.
"Invitrogen's Synergy Selector reduces the long lead times and costs in the traditional custom bag design process and allows customers the configurations they need to meet their workflow needs".
Customers can also use the tool to order pre-filled universal bags in a variety of sizes and a range of formulations.
