Progen Scientific has signed an exclusive distribution agreement to become the exclusive supplier of the N-Biotek range within the UK
N-Biotek is a leading manufacturer and supplier in Korea of laboratory equipment with 20 years experience in bio-technology products.
Progen says the company is appreciated for quality and competitive price and unique features such as IR-Concentrator, vibration free shaker (magnetic induction type), user-friendly incubator, CO2 incubator, shaking incubator, shakers and water baths.
These products are available now from Progen Scientific and some product details are below.
The N Biotek orbital shaking incubator from Progen Scientific is designed for the space conscious user but is capable of shaking a maximum of eight x 250ml flasks (also 100 and 500ml flasks, spring wire rack, tube rack or micro plates).
The model offers a host of features including one piece construction with lift-up, clear, acrylic cover.
A wide operating temperature range running from ambient +5C to 60C (in 0.1C increments), with an accuracy: +/-0.1C.
The unit is microprocessor (digital PID) controlled with a plate type brushless DC motor and beltless drive.
The incubator has built in door safety with auto stop when door opens.
Similarly the Biotek shaking water baths are designed for space conscious laboratories as both digital models are compact but still a reasonable 12 litre capacity with built-in spring wire rack.
This model also offers many distinct features including microprocessor control with LED display; a speed range of 30 to 200rpm; built in timer with one minute intervals up to 48hours or continuous and a temperature range running from ambient +5C to 80C.
In addition the unit features a non-contact, recessed heating element with over temperature protection and a plate brushless DC motor.
Both digital models are compact with built-in magnetic stirrer motors (one stirring position for the NB-302 and two stirring positions for the NB-302L) to stir the water in the bath or inside a vessel placed on the stirrer.
The microprocessor controlled models feature LED displays and are available in 12 litre or 22 litre capacity.
Similar to the other N-Biotek models these water baths offer a wide temperature range from ambient +5C to 100C with accuracy: +/- 0.1C at 37C.
A one piece seamless steel tank with built-in magnetic stirring keeps water temperature in the bath uniform and can also be used to stir liquid in vessels placed on the stirrer.
