Invitrogen announces the launch of the SuperScript Vilo cDNA synthesis kit, the latest in its family of market leading reverse transcription kits, providing the most reliable and sensitive first strand cDNA synthesis to date.
The kit uses RNAse H reduced SuperScript III reverse transcriptase, generating greatly increased yields of cDNA and improving qPCR sensitivity two- to four-fold over similar systems.
Additionally, the SuperScript VILO cDNA synthesis kit allows unprecedented linear detection in a downstream qPCR reaction from as little as one picogram of starting RNA all the way up to 2.5 micrograms in a 20 microlitre reaction.
